I combine nature photography with the proactive, issue-oriented approach of documentary photography as an agent for protecting nature. In my projects I focus on environmental and wildlife conservation by expanding public awareness of issues and stimulating remedial action. I and my team bring to our work a deep empathy for the natural world. I believe that proper use of photography has the power to bring about positive change.
My specialty is the photographic and audiovisual record of fauna and flora, capturing all the essence of the portrayed regions. Exploring from the beautiful landscapes to the most withdrawn nocturnal animals, such as felines and their prey. I use techniques learned during years of specialization in recording wild animals, applying resources transmitted by former hunters to new digital technologies for capturing high quality images. Images are captured with DSLR cameras and specialized photography equipment created by my own team.
